The Moto X now costs just $399 off contract

If you missed Motorola’s Cyber Monday sale on the the company’s flagship Moto X, but are still looking to get your hands on the phone at a reasonable price, you’re in luck. Motorola announced on Wednesday that the price of its hero phone without a contract has dropped to $399 to ring in the new year. This is not a promotion or a limited-time offer — according to a post on the Motorola Blog, the $100 price drop will be permanent. The price is currently available at every major U.S. carrier, and pairs especially well with ATT’s new Mobile Share Value plans, which promise to save customers with unsubsidized phones up to $130 a month depending on data allotment.
