With all of the rumors that were flying around in 2012 and 2013, the wait for Sony and Microsoft’s next-generation consoles was agonizing. It’s not that the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will terribly boring, it’s that these exiting new consoles promised features, gameplay and graphics that would blow the older boxes out of the water. So, did the new console generation deliver? Gamers will continue to hammer the “PlayStation 4 vs. Xbox One” debate ad nauseam, but both consoles offer huge improvements over their predecessors and over each other.
