Where would we be without apps? Perhaps wandering around a desert aimlessly, swiping at a trackball or poking at a resistive touchscreen with a stylus. On-device app portals completely changed the way we use our smartphones, tablets and even computers. Limits are gone, and our smartphones constantly morph with each new piece of software we install.
