Protests erupted in the town of Ferguson, Missouri after police shot an unarmed black teenager named Michael Brown. The police, for some time, refused to release the officers name, as tensions rose and militarized forces squared off with protesters in the town. After the release of the name and a de-escalated police presence, the people of Ferguson have celebrated a cautious victory.
