‘Uncharted’ writer and director Amy Hennig leaves Naughty Dog, reportedly forced out

Amy Hennig, the writer and creative director behind the bestselling Uncharted video game series, has left developer Naughty Dog. The news was first reported by IGN, which claims that Hennig was “forced out” of the Sony-owned studio by her counterparts Neil Druckmann and Bruce Straley, both of whom worked on The Last of Us. “The development timeline of ‘Uncharted’ will not be impacted.” “We can confirm that Amy Hennig has left Naughty Dog,” said Sony in a statement.
