Samsung’s brand new Galaxy S5 doesn’t officially launch until next Friday, but a number of eager retailers are getting a jump on the competition by selling the hotly anticipated handset right now. Several wireless carriers in South Korea began selling the Galaxy S5 last week in an effort to promote purchases ahead of an upcoming nationwide cell phone sales ban. Now, at least five third-party sellers on Amazon’s site in the United States have begun to sell the new flagship smartphone as well. As noted by 9to5Google, unlocked Galaxy S5 units are now available for sale on Amazon. Prices start at $825 with no associated service contract, and all five sellers state in their listings that units ship within one to three
