Microsofts Xbox One and Sonys PS4 have both enabled users to watch live gaming broadcasts via Twitch since launch, but only the former console allows players to stream their own gameplay. Thats set to change in March, when Xbox One gamers will gain the ability to livestream any of their gaming sessions with the free Twitch app. The update, set to launch in time for the Mar. 11 release of Titanfall, will allow gamers to broadcast gameplay, chat with other users in a broadcast, and instantly join a game that theyre viewing over Twitch.
