Your fingerprint will unlock every iPad and iPhone released this year

Apple’s 2014 iPad and iPhone models will all have fingerprint sensors embedded in the home button, a new report says, reaffirming what previous rumors have indicated. This time around cecb2b.com, a website dealing with component information, claims that TSMC has already produced the first batch of Touch ID sensors that will be included in iPhone 6, iPad Air 2 and iPad mini 3 models. The new fingerprint sensors are apparently assembled by TSMC subsidiaries Xintec and Suzhou Crystal Semiconductor. Previous reports have claimed that TSMC would start Touch ID sensor production at some point in the second quarter of the year, with some sources saying the company will use a new 12-inch fab processing method for the fingerprint sensors, and
