It’s a shame how you use #vulnerability scanners.
Whatever you think you know about vulnerability scanners, the truth is, they are the most efficient and practical way to get #security information about any networked device. The problem is, most people don’t know that because it’s not obvious in the report.
You may know a vulnerability scanner as the thing for finding stuff to be patched, which is how they’re mainly used today. But they are capable of so much more. Which is why they’re called vulnerability scanners and not patch scanners.
