Safari update patches many vulnerabilities

Apple released new versions of the Safari browser for Windows and MacOS.

Safari 5.1 for Mac OS X v10.6.8 or later, Windows 7, Vista, XP and Safari 5.0.6 for Mac OS X v10.5.8 are now available and address a multitude of vulnerabilities and bugs.
Some of these vulnerabilities allow cross site scripting attacks, may lead to arbitrary code execution or to an unexpected application termination.

We strongly advise all users to download the newest version for their OS.

Safari 5.1 is available via the Apple Software Update application, or Apple’s Safari download site at: http://www.apple.com/safari/download/ .
Safari 5.0.6 is available via the Apple Software Update application, or Apple’s Software Downloads web site: http://www.apple.com/support/downloads/ .
