Generative AI is playing a significant role in reshaping the phishing email threat landscape, two new pieces of research indicate. The State of Email Security in an AI-Powered World report from Abnormal Security revealed that security leaders are highly concerned about generative AI’s potential to create more sophisticated email attacks, with many either having already received AI-generated email attacks or strongly suspecting that this was the case.
