As to be expected new spear phishing attempts are being released into the wild to capitalize on yesterday’s LinkedIn breech. Its too be expected as its to big of an opportunity to pass up on. We expect similar attempts for the similar breech at eHarmony.

LinkedIn has publicly stated that the emails being sent to users do not contain any links and as such those that receive these emails should stay away.

As a result, impacted users will receive notifications containing instructions on how to reset their passwords. One observation that must be made is that these emails will not contain any links. Source: Softpedia
