AT&T’s Galaxy S4 is getting its own KitKat package

ATT on Wednesday officially confirmed that the highly anticipated Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for the Galaxy S4 is finally rolling out – Sprint was the first U.S. carrier to release its respective KitKat firmware for the Galaxy S4 two weeks ago. The update for the ATT Galaxy S4 (I337 model) is available only over-the-air (OTA) and measures between 414MB and 842MB depending on the Android OS version currently found on the phone. In addition to specific KitKat features, the ATT Galaxy S4 is also getting Galaxy Gear compatibility, a better call experience and a drag-and-drop feature that will allow users to uninstall or disable applications.
