Deadline reports that Barbarella, the 1968 sci-fi cult classic, is being rebooted for Amazon. According to unnamed sources, Gaumont International Television has set up shop at Amazon Studios to produce a pilot for the new series. The pilot will join fellow Amazon original shows Alpha House and Betas when it launches, though the studio offered no official date for the shows release.
