Meet Scarlett, the queen of ‘Starcraft II’

In November 2013, 19-year-old Canadian Starcraft II pro Sasha Scarlett Hostyn played whats been called one of the games most exciting matches ever: a hard-earned surprise victory against top-ranked player Choi Bomber Ji Sung in the Hammerstein Ballroom. North Americas current top player, Scarlett is one of a relatively small number of non-Koreans and an even smaller number of women to climb the ranks worldwide. Some months after the tournament, Gameological has profiled Hostyn, who deals not only with professional competition but — as a transgender woman — online bigotry.
