New leak may expose Samsung’s premium Galaxy S5 with a quad HD display

Even though Samsung has denied Galaxy S5 ‘Prime’ rumors that suggested the company will launch a premium high-end model of the Galaxy S5 later this year – the device was said to have a high-resolution 2K display on more than one occasion before and after the Galaxy S5 announcement – such a device may still be in the works. A new GFXBench benchmark test for a yet-to-be-announced SM-G906S smartphone from Samsung reveals a device with a quad HD display (2560 x 1440 pixels), seemingly confirming previous rumors. Other specs include a 5.2-inch display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, Adreno 420 GPU, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, 16-megapixel camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera and Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
