The rain-drenched, neon-lit city has been a staple of cyberpunk from the very beginning, and it turns out that the aesthetic looks even better when rendered in gorgeous pixels. The Last Night is a short browser game created by brothers Tim and Adrien Soret, and though it lasts just a few minutes, its absolutely dripping with style — playing feels like walking around a 16-bit Blade Runner. Its a short, moody, cyberpunk adventure game in the spirit of Flashback and Blade Runner, the developers explain, and that description is pretty accurate. The Last Night was built over the course of just six days as part of the recent cyberpunk game jam, and it currently stands as the events top-rated title.
