Paul McCartney, lead singer of The Fireman and former Michael Jackson collaborator, didnt receive a check for the song he wrote and recorded for Destiny, according to Vultures interview with Bungies Community Manager Eric Osbourne. Vulture: How on Earth did you convince [McCarnety] to do music for a video game? He got a wonderful opportunity to reach an audience that wouldnt typically be immersed in Paul McCartney. They might hear the name — of course hes everywhere, the Queens Diamond Jubilee, the Olympics, obviously hes touring and recording nonstop — but he sees it as a way to reach a new audience that might not otherwise hear his music.
