The prices of consumer 3D printers continue to drop, and the New Matter MOD-t is the cheapest one yet — though youll have to wait a year to get it. The Early Bird Special version of this 3D printer from Pasadena, California-based startup New Matter was selling for $149 USD on crowdfunding website Indiegogo, but within hours of the campaign going live today (May 28) all 500 available units had been sold. The MOD-t is still available for $199 on the Indiegogo campaign, and will retail for $249 when it hits the market in April 2015.
