Sharp just wont settle for good old-fashioned LCD technology, as its been tweaking its pixel configuration for years. You can find such technology in Sharps Quattron line of high-end LCDs. At this years CES, Sharp came out with a line of LED LCD TVs called Quattron+ (Q+), with technology that rejiggers how the components of each subpixel work together.
