As the manager of SophosLabs UK you will review all elements of the operation, developing and delivering on a strategic vision that drives industry leading Protection and Detection to our customers. You will relish the opportunity to manage the UK sub-teams via their respective managers and to work with global peers on the development and delivery of SophosLabs strategic objectives as a 24/7, follow-the-sun group. This position is based at our headquarters in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.
Required skills: People management of large teams of technical individuals and management of managers with sub teams Driving the adoption and application of Software development best practice in a commercial environment Security industry experience, with a good understanding of malware techniques, threat landscape and how protection is provided Software engineering background with experience of developing security products or automation systems Planning and tracking of multiple projects across multiple teams, preferably across locations Customer facing presentation skills both at conferences etc and face to face Driving change in a fast-paced environment
Desired skills: Follow-the-sun, 24/7 operations Decision making in a fast-paced customer facing role Security industry contacts Media skills such as TV\Radio\Journalists
